  • Newmarket 2.20 - Broadway Act - bet with bet365
  • Newmarket 2.55 - Bopedro e/w - bet with CopyBet
  • Ffos Las 4.15 - Panjari  - bet with BetMGM
  • Ffos Las 4.50 - In Rem e/w - bet with Betway

Newmarket 2.20 - Broadway Act

Will Buick and Charlie Appleby team up, and it is no surprise that the yard are in blinding form, operating at a 40% strike-rate for April.

BROADWAY ACT is an interesting sort here, who was a tad disappointing on Handicap debut at this venue back in October, but looked a little outpaced before plugging on over the 7f on Soft ground.

The likelihood of faster ground should be of huge benefit, and looking at his pedigree and running style, this step up to 1m should be ideal for him.

This previous course winner should have a lot more to offer off a mark of 85, and could be just the type to progress now gelded.

Newmarket 2.55 - Bopedro each-way

This is fairly wide, as you would expect, and I wouldn't rule out last year's winner BOPEDRO repeating the efforts of 12 months ago.

David O'Meara's individual comes into this race just 3lb higher than last year, and so trip and ground hold no fears. A couple of runs on the All Weather  recently will have the 8-year-old absolutely spot on for this, so he should be primed to the minute.

The booking of Rossa Ryan is a plus, and the yard have had a couple of winners recently.

It's a big ask off top weight, but he has the 'been there and done it factor' coming into this assignment, and represents each-way value with 17 runners due to take their chance at the headquarters of Flat racing.

Ffos Las 4.15 - Panjari

Paul Nicholls is not giving up the fight in regards to the Trainers' Championship, and it's a case of every little helps in stacking up the prize money.

The 6-year-old PANJARI is officially rated 127, and can stamp his authority on the field here. He has no problem with testing ground, and should be much happier here swimming in calmer waters here, after failing to bring his A-game to the table in the Grade 2 Dovecote at Kempton last time out.

This should be a suitable assignment with Freddie Gingell booked to ride, taking off 5lb which could be invaluable.

There isn't a great deal of strength and depth in this encounter, and I am keen on the chances of the Ditcheat representative here.

Ffos Las 4.50 - In Rem each-way

IN REM has had one start over course and distance, and boasts one emphatic success.

With a proven versatility in regards to underfoot requirements, I think this 9-year-old has to be taken seriously, eased to a mark of 109. and appeared to look a lot happier back over Hurdles last time out.

Jane Williams and David Noonan team up on this individual who is starting to look very well treated on peak Chase form, and will act on the ground.

As things stand he looks the each-way play and shouldn't be found wanting for stamina at a track we know he acts well at. In a race where you can make a case for quite a few runners, this gelding is the value call to get in the shake-up.

Don't forget Ed will be back tomorrow as Day 1 of Cheltenham's April Meeting begins!
