  • 2.40: El Granjero 1/1 (2pts)

KEMPTON

  • 8.00: Two Past Eight 11/2 (1pt)

Juniper

Really promising mare who's still lightly raced over fences but put in a massive shift to come second to My Silver Lining at Cheltenham last April.

That form has been boosted considerably since with that mare now in Grade 3's and up close to 20lb.

Juniper showed a bit of that last time out to beat Whatsdastory by a wide margin, despite carrying top weight.

And she's only been upped 4lb for that success.

3m1f is within her realm if she stays on the day, which she has done numerous times before, including on her chase debut.

Now with Anthony Honeyball and under Harry Cobden here, she's got a great chance of justifying favouritism in a race with a few question marks on the others.

El Granjero

Ought to dispatch of these rivals comfortably if living up to his form lines.

Placed second in each of his three hurdle starts so far but latest was a neck second at 9/4 to Inoui Machin, who himself showed promise behind the likes of Personal Ambition.

Improvement has been made with this horse clearly and it's not like he stood much chance in his opening two hurdle contests at 40/1 and 11/1 but still came second in big fields so really should be fancied for this even at 1/1.

Two Past Eight

First time blinkers should help and he's had excuses in the last when hampered at the start.

Progress still on the cards for this lightly raced hurdler who's now had four goes on the all-weather and been close up over 2m on his last four outings on the artificial surfaces.

Stays well and never far away and the blinkers could just help him find that bit more on the final furlong.
